House Cleaning Find (part 1)

The last few days I have been packing boxes to prepare for the move.  It has been really busy and stressful, but today I caught a major boost!
While cleaning out the storage area I came across yet another box labeled "Misc Collectibles".  I could see through the small space in the top that it was magazines and some other junk from my childhood and almost skipped over it.  Because we are moving, I have been going through everything we have in storage - throwing things out and donating others.   So I was reluctant to go through yet another box.  But holy shitballs I'm glad that I did...
Can't wait to get these displayed.
No joke - just the other day I was complaining about not having some of my old boxes from some high profile games, and here they are.  I had assumed they got tossed in the past between moves just as I almost overlooked them this time.

Game Room 2.0 Farewell

A new game room is on the horizon!  We are moving to a new house soon and I'm hoping I'll have a much improved Room of Doom in the future.  Before I started deconstruction of the current setup I managed to get a few pictures.
It has been a work-in-progress for about 3 years.  The biggest selling point of this house for us was that it had a very large secondary living space that included a wet bar and full-size refrigerator.  The old room, which was meant to be a dining room, was roughly 13x13' and overflowing even before I really got into collecting.  It held my desk, CRT setup, and one chair.  The rest of the room was as full as it could be with shelving and storage.  The goal when looking for a new house was to find a room large enough to also include the more modern systems as well as my MAME cabinet.
